Top 3 Skincare Products
I LOVE skincare products! When you feel good in your own skin it's the best. There are so many options out there. I could write a blog everyday for a month and still not cover all that is available. I am not affiliated with any brand; I recommend these because they work for me. I have normal to dry sensitive skin and of course I need anti-aging products being close to 50 now (whoo Lord I need to sit down to process that thought). I do have adult daughters who are in their mid to late 20's and I will be posting their favorites at a future time.
My first go to product right now is the First-Aid Beauty Face cleanser. It is gentle and removes make up well. I like that it doesn't strip my skin of its oil, and that my skin feels refreshed and not tight after washing. This product can be found at Ulta or Sephora in a 5oz tube for $20 and will last about 3-4 months. If this is out of your price range a similar product, Cetaphil daily cleanser, can be found at most drugstores for around $8 for an 8oz bottle.
My second product favorite is Clarins Eye Contour Gel. This will boost moisture in your skin, help minimize under eyes puffiness and dark circles. I use this as my morning eye product because it's light and helps make me look less tired. A little goes a long way! You can find this at department stores or Sephora for $39. The .7 oz tube will last you around 6-8 months. You can also put in the fridge for an extra pick me up. A similar product is Indulge Soothing Eye Gel by Mary Kay Cosmetics. A .4oz jar will be $16. If you don't have a Mary Kay consultant then you can purchase your eye gel @marykay.com and the site will connect you to a consultant in your area.
My final product that is my holy grail of skin care - Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. This is like magic in a tube. You can use it two ways: as a 10 minute energizing mask or apply just a little onto your skin before makeup. It diffuses fine lines and wrinkles, tightens up your skin, and provides a great foundation for your makeup. A lot of days I just wear it and no foundation. It gives my skin a very radiant look. This is the one product I would take if stuck on a desert island. I can't say enough great things about it. This can be bought at any department store or Sephora. The cost is $47 for a 1.7oz tube and will last 8-9 months. I have searched high and low and there is no other product that comes close to doing what this does for me. It is worth every penny for what it does for my skin.
I hope that this has been helpful. One thing that I love to do is get value sets from Ulta and Sephora that give deluxe samples of different products to try. They range from $10-30. I know there are also DIY masks, cleansers, etc. The possibilities are endless. Take time to invest in yourself. You are worth the time and effort.
Have a great week!
