Declutter Challenge Continues
Worst cabinet to kick off the declutter challenge!

So many of us have been working on getting our kitchen organized these past few weeks. We were/are organizing one drawer/cabinet at a day.

If you are just now joining the Fall/Holiday Series there is still time to work on your kitchen. I promise that putting forth just this little bit of effort will make you feel less stressed and make your holidays more enjoyable.

I showed a picture above of under my Range. It was by far my worst cabinet. Today I am showing a before and after of my worst drawer. The dreaded "catch all" or "junk" drawer

BEFORE                                 AFTER

The same organizing method applies to cleaning out the drawers as it does the cabinets
  1. Take everything out
  2. Sort everything into 3 piles.  *Trash  *Donate *Keep
  3. Once you decided what to keep then use drawer dividers or containers to help organize your things.
  4. Now that everything in the drawer is organized it is time to reward yourself with a treat. I like a nice cup of tea, some guilt free time watching a youtube video, or reading a book/magazine.
I can't stress enough how much this will help you. Organizing declutters your mind and gives you better focus on more important things.

Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away. No need to panic though because we are in this together. I will be going step by step on ways to make your 2016 Thanksgiving the best yet. I will be posting and sharing...
  • A Menu Plan
  • Grocery List
  • Hacks and Shortcuts to make life easier
  • Of course LOTS of recipes (not just for Thanksgiving but for anytime)
I look forward to this next week as we prep for our Thanksgiving meal. I'll also be posting tips and recipes on my Facebook page...Real life, Rants, & Recipes with Lar. If you haven't liked the page yet head over and give it a like. I have also posted my actual Thanksgiving meal. Let me know what recipes you would like from the menu.

Thanks for supporting this blog. I hope you are finding the tips helpful and inspirational. Remember to just take things one step at a time. Finally, enjoy the Holidays by spending time with family and friends.

Take care,

Lar
